Illustration is a special joy. Design in black and white is like playing a game of chess with flat space.

The award winning "Redwood Coast Review" often uses my illustrations.

I am currently the art director for the monthly newsletter of Gualala Arts. While the whole layout is a unified graphic design piece, I particularly enjoy doing the cover illustration or graphic design.

The book, "Miracle Workout", by Dr. Jackson Davis, needed many detailed figures of exercises and exercise plans. This type of illustration demands a different set of skills; attention to detail and function. I was proud to illustrate the book. It was published by Random House in 2005.
